1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

We collect the data you provide when you describe your property search or contact us — typically your name, email address, phone number, the characteristics of the property you are looking for, your budget range and your messages. We also collect technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) and, only with your consent, analytics and advertising identifiers.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process your data for the following purposes, each with its own legal basis:

• To manage your property search and contact you about it — pre-contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• To send you property suggestions that may match your search — your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
• To send you marketing communications — your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
• To protect the security of the website and prevent fraud and abuse — our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

4. AI-powered assistant

Our conversational assistant uses artificial intelligence provided by Anthropic. Only the minimum data necessary to answer your query is sent to this provider, and your conversations are not used to train its models under our commercial agreement.

5. Recipients of your data

We share your data only with service providers that help us operate the website, under data processing agreements:

• Hosting: Vercel.
• Database: Neon (hosted in the EU, Frankfurt).
• Email delivery providers, to send you the communications described above.
• Anthropic, as provider of the AI behind the conversational assistant (minimum necessary data).
• Google, for analytics and advertising, only if you consent via the cookie banner.
• Collaborating agencies or property sellers, solely where necessary to connect you with a specific property you are interested in.

6. International transfers

Some providers (e.g. Vercel, Anthropic, Google) are established in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards: the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

7. How long we keep your data

As a general guide: search and contact data are kept while your search is active and for up to 12 months after our last interaction; data processed on the basis of consent are kept until you withdraw it; records needed to demonstrate compliance (e.g. consent logs) are kept for the applicable limitation periods; technical security logs are kept for short periods. After these periods, data are deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Simply email hello@mallorcapropertymatch.com from the address you used with us.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).

9. Minors

This service is not directed at persons under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version, with its date, will always be published on this page.
